Dr. Thomas F. Coburn graduated cum laude from Duke University in 1991. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Kentucky in 1995.
His specialty training was in Family Medicine at the University of Kentucky Department of Family Practice.
He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and serves as President of the Board of Directors for Jessamine Christian Healthcare.
Dr Coburn serves as Medical Director at the Jessamine County Detention Center and is a member of the Jessamine County Board of Health. He is also a Medical Associate for Hospice of the Bluegrass.
Thomas volunteers his time on mission work in Mexico.
Thomas was born in Wilmore. He and his wife, Cathy, have four children, Jonathan, Catherine, Rebekah, and Michael. They have lived in Jessamine County since 1997. They are currently homeschooling their children and participate in a home school co-op.
